    Grammar?

Hello, I apologise if the following issue has been discussed and settled.

The Bold highlight has been extracted from CMF

    Forum: Site Feedback

Suggestions and feedback on CMF is welcome here.

I would think the verb to be should be "are" instead of "is" given the sentence structure above.

Please correct me if I am wrong.

    Thanks!

The forum admins should re-write it as:

    Your feedback is welcome here.
    Your suggestions are not.

A teacher once told me to replace simple words for the complex ones to see if they make sense. So here we go. Cows and horses is welcome here. Nope does not sound right so I humbly suggest the word are.

I am certain that someone has already thought of this, but what about a web-based edit facility. If you have some communication... anything from a business letter to a blog submission, to a college essay, and you want to make it as spiffy and error-free as possible, just submit it to MR-EDITOR.com and for pennies a word he will clean it up, correct the spelling and grammar. There has to be such a site.

I tested the CMF's sentence on two free online grammar checker and BOTH did not pick up the error!
