    I spent time researching hedge funds and never moved on them.

    Stock Market Super Stars Bob Thompson have chapters on Merch and LaMarch plus. Good read.

    The growth fund has a -39.2% 1 year performance for the end of May and a 2.43% MER for the A series. Not that bad over the long term but it looks to be one of those funds that "swings for the fences". My preference for a small cap mutual fund would be the Beutel Goodman Small Cap - lower MER, lower volatility and good long-term performance.
