    Best brokerage to use?

Who is your favorite broker? I use Scotia itrade but not crazy about it. Right now I am into ETFs, moving from one to another 2 or 3 times a year. Does anyone have real time quotes or at least better than 20 minute delay and reasonable commissions? I'm comfortable with making my own decisions and trading online.

Scotia iTrade provides real time Level II quotes.
You have to review and accept a Level II quote agreement.
If you are trading ETFs less than 10 times a year as you say, the commissions should not be a significant factor for you.

$19.99 (their highest tier) vs. $4.95 (+ ECN) at CrapTrade.com is not worth sweating over, IMHO

I use questrade but I think I will be switching, they have done a bunch of things that I am not keen on. Will look more into it a little down the road when my needs change a bit more

At any time I might have positions in 3 or 4 ETFs which I might change after 2 or 3 months, or hold the same position for over a year. But you are right, I do not do a lot of trading.

^ oh right, yes, I forgot about that even though I posted about it on the forum a month or so ago.
That's for customers they don't want to service.
They are handing these customers to CrapTrade.com on a platter.
    Sad.
