what does everyone think that has been forced to switch? I for one can't even get it to work

I switched. Then switched back, then once again switched to IQ to give it another chance. Still getting used to it. Some of my favorite functions are not there anymore but there are a lot of new ones that are pretty cool. It takes a bit of time to learn but I think it will be worth it in the end.

who cares, what a piece of junk.
i selected the option to postpone my conversion.
it asked for a reason and i selected that my computer does not meet the minimum requirements.
i am happy using the bare bones platform that they have right now. i can get my work done with it.
look up quotes, place trades, check my balances. don't need nothing else.
leave me alone and stay the heck out of my way.
come ask me in 5 years if i want to upgrade.

Annoyed with the forced switch. They wouldn't even leave the old system available once you do the switch. So you better hope it works.
Had to download some microsoft lightswitch software to make it all work? Also it says my computer, OS and software is not compatible. Well it ended up working anyway, good for them I would have been real upset.
Had to enter all my limit orders again.. gets to be a pain when you have a lot of them.
Also load up speed is slow and buggy, please I like things simple and wish they would just leave questraderweb alone. But you know, they need a fancy looking platform so you can daytrade more and spend more money on commission.
I'm not a day trader, so I don't care.
This is going to TDW once I sell some positions.

yeah my problem was related to the microsoft silverlight as well it was just chrome doesn't like to tell you it needed to be updated. For tsx quotes i noticed they are not level 1 and 15 min delayed that sucks i miss the old one even thought you needed multiple logins for each account
-
rusty you didn't need multiple logins for each account; all you needed to do is link your accounts and you use the master account as your login and you can switch between accounts.
I am NOT liking the 15 min delayed TSX quote... that alone makes me want to switch back. GRRRR

I beta-tested it and switched back to WEB because IQ was buggy. It may not be that way anymore, but I see no reason to change back right now. The only bonus is that there is a smartphone app coming sometime soon for IQ. Perhaps then I'll give it another look.

I requested it through an email. Was done fairly quickly. Only downside is that on the homepage of myQuestrade it doesn't give me a quick snapshot of my balances anymore.. just says, "IQ accounts closed".

I hated it at first but it's starting to grow on me.
Am eagerly awaiting the android version.
