Question about e-mailed followups on forums

Q: When I post to a forum, I get an e-mail notification when updates have been posted. This I like. And I've set it up to e-mail me right away with any updates.

What I noticed is that if I don't login to the site for a few days, forum updates stop flowing. And when I log back in, I'll get any new posts from that point on.

Is there something that I can configure to keep e-mailing me the forum thread updates, even if I don't log in for a while?

I've noticed this before and since the upgrade, so it isn't something new.

It is the same for me, as I am sure it is for others here. I only get sent an email for the first post in a thread that I am subscribed to. I just make sure to log in every day or two, even if I am just lurking and don't have anything to post, so that is an option for you.

I also check "New Posts" or "Today's Posts" regularly.
