I've put up a poll here.

No you are not imagining things.... and it's not an illusion... We have added a sidebar to the new posts page.

Also, we have removed the white space and ads from the posts pages. I don't think the Reply button has changed though I could be mistaken.

    Awesome. Thanks, CC.

Makes it a lot easier to browse the boards and take a "quick glance" and see what's changed. I often complete other tasks online and will "refresh" the CMF index page every so often. It's a lot easier because if something is labelled "Yesterday" or as a previous date, then I know I don't need to look at it, as the "Today" posts will stand out and catch my eye.

feel strongly about this. Too many archived news stories in the internet are not properly date-stamped. Date-stamping is universal, readable in most languages, should apply everywhere. Yesterday, today are vague terms.
I read your post and then: shook my head, scrunched my face, and a voice inside my head said "What the hell?"

For one, I can never tell if the majority of your posts are serious or sarcastic, especially after deciphering the constant Alice in Wonderland stories.

Second, I can't fathom how "Today" is any more vague than "11-03-12", when today is in fact March 11, 2012. I feel that if something were to be vague, it would be your anecdotal Alice in Wonderland posts.

Is there a way to keep the "sponsor" and "new forum posts" panes minimized to the right? It opens back up every time I navigate back to the main forum pages. Again, not a big deal in full screen, but using split screen the sponsors section takes up over half of the column width of the open window..

Just notice the side widget (everysomething sidebar) on the right. Can you add a quick reply section to it? It'll make posting feel more like chatting during daytime. Scrolling transition on new posts would be a good subtle way to notify visitors of new posts while they have the forum open as well.

I think it's still there, it's in the bar above the first message of every thread with the options:

On IE8, when I log into the forum the first page it takes me to is an "invalid redirect". I have to click on "forum" to get back to the front page.
