This festive offer ends December 31st!
'Tis the season for giving and getting. Every time you refer a friend to ING DIRECT and they open an Account with $100 or more, you'll earn $50*. That's double the usual $25!
Time's a ticking! Pass on your unique Orange Key via email, FacebookŪ, a phone call, note, scribble on a napkin... whatever it takes! 'Cause from now until December 31st, every referral will earn you and your friend $50 each. How's that for a holiday bonus?

I just checked that out as I thought 3% was too good to be true. The actual TFSA rate being offered is half at 1.5% - so while better than most banks, I'm going to stay with Ally's 2% rate :)

The rate of their TFSA account is 1.5% but in the TFSA kickstart account they will double whatever interest you gained between now and December 31st (designed to offset the tax you will pay since it's an unregistered account).

Sorry guys, didnt know this post would be getting reply so I am here after a few months...Please note that the $50 promotion is gone, now its back to $25. They have a promo where you get $100 if you switch your payroll to them.
Thanks Young&Ambitious for your interests, and thanks Daryl-Manitoba for making it more clear. Didnt know they change it to 1.5%, I guess its for the promotion, where you get double at the end at Dec31, for the kick start account. So basically its 3% in total, until dec 31 of every year. They have this promo last year as well. So lets say you put in $1000 in oct. You earn interest of lets say $1.27 for oct, $1.3 for nov, and $1.4 for dec. Total is $3.97 for the 3 months, by Jan 01 they will deposit another $3.97. Hope that is clear.
RE:Spudman
Yes you could double dip, if you refer first 5 you get $50, second 5 (total 10) you get $100 and so on to a total of 20 which you get $200.
Again sorry for my extremely late replies. I guess there is always a next time
