update minimum search length

Can an admin please update the minimum search length string to say 3 characters, so we can search the site based on a stock symbol? I have a bit of admin experience with vBulletin so I'm pretty sure it is technically possible to do.

Just wondering if anyone one else would like to search based on a 3 letter stock symbol? So maybe it will be looked into by the admins.

I vote for this too.
Maybe this feature can only be allowed in the Advanced search and not the Quick Search, but it would be helpful.
On the FWF forum, there is a separate section for all ticker symbol threads and it's rather easy to find the thread for a particular ticker.
I think the time lag already built into the advanced search should prevent most DoS bots anyway so reducing the min. search expression length should be ok.

I think you can also have the forum ignore words in the search, so common 3 letter words like 'the', 'and', etc could be added to the list of words that are ignored.

Quick search found at least one site that lists 'common' 3 letter words used in scrabble. ;)
